MARINE TERRACE

This large garden in the lovely wee village of Muchalls, was a building site when we arrived.

There was a lot of vegetation that had been overgrown and large pile of stone from the recent extension that had been built. The extension itself was stunning, we had a challenge on our hands to complement this.

We started by utilising the natural stone that had come from the old house, creating a large rockery, filled with alpine and herbaceous plants also dwarf varieties of shrubs.

Sandstone paving was installed to form a path to the bottom of the garden, this provided a interesting contrast to the premier lawn turf we laid to finish.
